The department provides for implementations of building and machine investments and investments in computer technology.

Activity of the department is focused particularly on:

• providing for building investments implementations (plan, project documentation, planning permission, building permit, arranging for building contractor, building implementation, taking over the building and final inspection)
• administrative service for buying computer technology and machinery
• preparation of documents for putting tangible fixed assets into operation
• drawing up surveys of investment plan fulfilment, subsidies and the like.
• drawing up quarterly and annual statistical statements
• preparation of documents for the investment commission
• administrative service for departments implementing buildings themselves
• obtaining building sites, help with handling restitution claims to ourlands
